The Tree Library global network connects digitally and physically through the Sprout Program at the urban level. This program aims to add an urban perspective to a human-centered approach and connect individuals and organizations in urban areas to help achieve Planetary Repair.
The program's goals are to address the Triple Planetary Crisis of Climate Change, Pollution, and Biodiversity Loss by:
- Harmonizing various initiatives to repair the planet.
- Leveraging the skillset of a community of multi-disciplinarians to attend to the community's needs.
- Collaborating to build the capacities needed to repair the planet and promote co-learning for economic participation.
- Recognizing & leveraging the value of arts, cultural heritage, and ancestral wisdom to achieve Planetary Repair.
- Co-delivering physical spaces that serve as living labs where innovative solutions for Planetary Repair are tested and showcased.
- Testing, deploying, and helping to scale technical and nature-based solutions.
